The boosters of the pork forest ended the year in the red. They spent in excess of $600,000, mostly on fundraising, while only collecting about $565,000 in donations. That's right, for every dollar raised, they spent about a buck-ten.

Now, why, pray tell, should we believe that the reality of the Rain Forest will be a moneymaker when even the highly touted promise of it isn't a moneymaker?
